CareFirst Medicare Webpages
Role: Web Design, Content Planning, User Flow Mapping
Challenge: CareFirst was launching Medicare Advantage in the marketplace and needed a new website experience to educate prospective members approaching retirement. Given the complexity of Medicare, the goal was to make plan information clear, accessible, and easy to navigate so visitors could better understand their options.
Approach: Working alongside the primary designer, I designed supporting subpages and contributed to content planning. I helped map user flows and put myself in the shoes of prospective members to anticipate their questions and identify gaps in the information provided. Research, brainstorming, and wireframes helped inform the page structure and content hierarchy. The visual direction was loosely based on CareFirst’s Medicare Advantage campaign.
Result: Contributed to the launch of CareFirst’s new Medicare Advantage website by designing supporting subpages and helping organize content around prospective members’ information needs. The pages were designed to make important plan details easier to find and help visitors navigate their Medicare options.
